REUT / REUSE concept
The reuse of treated wastewater is one of solution to use so-called unconventional water that reduces its water footprint.
Where treatment plants are limited to treating wastewater with water that is acceptable to the environment, REUSE offers a solution allowing the use of such treated water.
The objective is to create value with unconventional water through a treatment complementary to that already carried out by the treatment plant. Once this water is treated it can be used for a new use such as urban, industrial, agricultural, leisure and habitat.
REUSE treatments
The treatment of treated wastewater that complements the first treatment carried out by the treatment plant depends on uses, in particular : roads, watering, waterman…
To meet each use, Nomado knows how to use all available water treatment technologies including : sand filtration, zeolite filtration, absorption on activated charcoal, membrane filtration by Ultra Filtration, Nano filtration, Nano filtration and Reverse Osmosis
Each use case is different and requires a special study to define the right treatment process. Nomado and its experts will assists you in defining this process.
Current regulations
Current regulations on the use of treated wastewater evolve everyday and our experts follow this regularly. To date, our design takes into account these normative references :
- Decree of 2 August 2010 on the use of water from urban wastewater treatment for irrigation of crops or green spaces.
- Decree of 10 March 2022 on the uses and conditions of treated wastewater reuse.
- Order of 28 July 2022 on applications for authorization to use treated water.
Containerized solutions
Read more
Sheet metal work and welding of the hydraulic structures are performed directly inside the container. Waterproofing is ensured by a seal made of special coatings that constitutes a perfectly monolithic block. It prevents water from coming into contact with the structures. The Coatings’ properties are always chosen in accordance with the project’s specifics (Health compliance certificate, WRAS, aggressiveness of reagents or water, etc.).
